Double Triumph: LFS Wins Gold in Football & Badminton across APAC!

Incredible achievements! Over the past few weeks, two groups of students represented our school at the Asia-Pacific Football Cup in Hanoi and the Badminton Cup in Bangkok, bringing home gold medals in both competitions. What an extraordinary moment of pride!

First Place for Our Football Champions

A team of U11 students proudly represented our school at the Asia-Pacific Cup in early December, a prestigious and highly competitive football tournament. After intense matches against teams from Singapore, Bangkok, Manila, and many others, our boys reached the final to face Ho Chi Minh, another undefeated team.

In a tense and thrilling final match, our team triumphed 3-0, becoming the Asia-Pacific Cup Champions! Throughout the tournament, they remained undefeated, conceding only a single goal—a truly remarkable achievement.

Beyond the victory, this success highlights the team’s sportsmanship, respect for opponents, and dedication.

“Our young players demonstrated exemplary behavior throughout the competition,” said the tournament organizer.

This success also reflects our school’s commitment to fostering both the athletic and personal development of our students.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze for Our Badminton Players!

For the second consecutive year, LFS dominated the badminton courts, finishing first among 16 French schools from the Asia-Pacific region. Our students once again demonstrated their skill and excellence in this highly technical sport.

A Stunning Medal Haul:

🏅 In Individual Matches:

– 4 medals, including gold, silver, and bronze in the U18 category.

– 1 gold medal in the U13 category.

🏆 In Team Competitions:

– The LFS U18 team secured first place after a fantastic final against Beijing.

Our students also achieved numerous 4th, 5th, and 6th places among 48 players across 6 categories (boys and girls, U13, U15, and U18).

But the tournament was about more than just competition ; Many students discovered a new country and formed lasting friendships.

Four of our students also completed the Young Official Referee training, a rigorous certification recognized up to the academic level. This accomplishment highlights their dedication, technical expertise, and love for the sport.
