The new school year is approaching, and we are excited to welcome our 1,450 students across our two campuses for another academic year. Thank you to all the families who have chosen to place their trust in us once again, and welcome to the 200 new families joining us. Our teams are ready to help you integrate smoothly and answer any questions you may have. We also want to provide you with all the necessary information to ensure a smooth, calm, and successful start to the school year for every student.
📅 Wednesday, August 28th: LFS Open House (see time slots below).
📅 Thursday, August 29th: First day of school at 8:00 AM (except for K1 (Petite Section) students).
📅 Friday, August 30th: First day of school for K1 (Petite Section) students at 8:00 AM.
The dates are the same for both campuses, Qingpu and Yangpu.

The Sports and Cultural Activities (ASC) department, which offers extracurricular activities for our students, will send out information on 08.26 regarding registration for sports and cultural activities and competitions offered by our school.

On Wednesday, August 28th, bring your family to our Open House on both campuses and meet the LFS teaching and administrative teams, as well as parents who are actively involved in the life of the school throughout the year.
We will offer a coffee welcome in our piazzas, a tour of our campuses, a welcome by the teachers in the classrooms, and a presence from our pedagogical and administrative teams to answer all your questions. Our elected and volunteer parents will also be there during the Open House to welcome you, introduce the representative bodies, and hopefully inspire new vocations! You will also be able to meet our partners Shanghai Accueil, Le Petit Journal, Epermarket, and visit the LFS shop to wear our school colors!

Family reception will be organized on both campuses according to the following schedule:
Morning: Primary School
On both campuses:
⏱️ 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM: Reception of families from Pre-K (TPS), Kindergarten, Grade 1 (CP) and Grade 2 (CE1) levels
⏱️ 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Reception of families from Grade 3 (CE2) to Grade 5 (CM2) levels
Afternoon: Secondary School
On both campuses:
⏱️ 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Reception of families with FLSCO in secondary school and meeting with teachers
⏱️ 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Reception of 6th-graders (Sixième) families and meeting with teachers
⏱️ 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Meeting with teachers of all other secondary levels (from Grade 7 (cinquième) to Grade 12 (terminale)
Please make sure to respect the time slots that apply to you. Note that lunch will not be included in the day’s program.
