Last week, our mathematicians were awarded with certificates to celebrate their participation in several mathematics competitions, done in French, but not only!
The Mathematics Week is celebrated in France every year during Pi Day Week (3.14); on this occasion, students from Grade 6 had joined the Kangaroo Contest. That same week, volunteer students of Grades 11 and 8 took on the challenge of the Mathematics Olympiad competition, with both an individual paper and a mixed team paper, followed closely by the Franco-German mathematics rally which happened at the end of March. Finally, several students also participated in a Franco-Chinese contest “Counting with the other”. You get it, there was enough to satisfy all maths enthusiasts!
If all our participants deserve a massive congrats, there is a particular mention to be given to our students who went beyond!
For the Franco-Chinese contest “Counting with the other”, we wish to celebrate Jérôme WU in Grade 12 who arrived 1st! Well done to Lina HIRECHE for obtaining distinction in the Grade 11 Olympiad, and to Mirabelle LU for arriving 1st at the Worldwide ranking in the Grade 8 Olympiad! The Kangaroo Contest saw Maël Yang LIVET, in Grade 6 win the 4th place worldwide! Finally, the Franco-German mathematics rally awarded the winning groups in Grades 9 and 10, well done to our two teams!
