A yearly celebration close to the AEFE network, May of Languages highlights plurilingualism, an essential factor of international growth for our future generations and which enables the most creative to build multidisciplinary projects.
This year, our languages teams jumped in the conception of an exhibition of journalistic pictures with their students, pictures for which students had to guess and write the captions. By thinking about the meaning of these 28 pictures, students expressed their opinion in several languages: French, Chinese, English, German, and Spanish.
The result is beautiful, and more. This reflecting work initiated by teachers for students to see beyond an image and understand the message carried with it, took us on a journey through current issues, inequality, successes, poverty, dreams and even the environment. Truths we don’t always face with courage but which are necessary to move together towards the right direction.
Well done to all the coordinators for this superb project!
