Benoît Guidée, Consul General of France in Shanghai, and Philippe Snel, Chairman of the Board of LFS, signed on Monday, May 09 the new agreement which unites Shanghai French School and the AEFE, the Agency for French Education abroad. Keeping the links and the partnership between the school and the AEFE, it replaces the previous 5-year agreement (2018-2022).
Due to the lockdown, the ceremony was held online, in the presence of some of Board members, Marie de Boni, Isabelle Ducroq, and Francis Lim, as well as Séverine Boué, Attachée for University Cooperation, Anne-Sophie Gouix, Head of School, David Péchoux, Executive Director and Siegfried Fau, Director of Communications and Admissions.
By committing to renew the agreement, Shanghai French School confirms its attachment to the AEFE network. The agreement guarantees the quality of teaching in line with the French educational model. As the result of a close work between the Board and the AEFE, this document also recognises its specificities, its mode of governance and meets the requirements of the local Chinese context. It sets the school in the continuity of its mission
