On Thursday, October 14, students from Primary School in Yangpu joined the “Big Laundry”, a participative art piece which twists the principle of the traditional hanging out by using A4 paper sheets to make it a short-lived exhibition happening around the world on the same day.
Initiative led by Valérie Lavillette, a Grade 3 teacher, it gathered all classes from Kindergarten and Primary School who participated in this artistic activity.
This year’s theme was “Are we all birds?”, which invited students to let their imagination fly through drawings, paintings and even collage and visual poetry.
Here’s a glimpse of a day full of dreams and birds of all shapes!
