The General Assembly was held on Sunday, March 28 at the Sofitel Hyland in the presence of the Consul General of France in Shanghai, the members of the Board as well as the School Leadership. 100 families, carrying 203 proxies, leading to a total of 303 families were represented, out of 1019 (29.7%). All resolutions were approved.

The General Assembly of the LFS Parents’ Association, of which all parents are members, is the body which enables the Board of Directors to give an annual report of its management to parents.

The members of the Board and the School Leadership gave speeches on the continuity plan, the health situation, the school project, the current strategic project of the school and the 2021 budget among other topics.

This meeting gave parents the opportunity to compare their ideas and decide by vote on important matters of the school.

Finally, the General Assembly elected 4 members among 6 candidates to the Board of Directors, which now counts 8 parents serving the LFS.

Following this election, the elected members will meet to choose the Bureau (President, Vice-President, General Secretary and Treasurer).
