As we are back to school, we have a special thought for the students of the Miao minority in Guangxi province, who are also on the way back to their classrooms.

Thanks to the partnership between Shanghai French School and the association ‘Couleurs de Chine’ and with the support of our Library, Martine Chen and her colleagues, Chinese teachers of the Primary School in Qingpu, have prepared two boxes of books in Chinese language (tales, novels and learning methods) which have been sent during the summer holidays and will benefit the Miao children.

With Couleurs de Chine, the Shanghai French School is supporting young Miao girls in their studies and contributing to an initiative that represents a social lift for these young people.

We wish them an excellent back to school!
