Tournoi amical d’échecs avec la DSS
La pratique des échecs, par-delà son aspect ludique, est un moyen privilégié du développement intellectuel des élèves et constitue un atout supplémentaire dans leur processus d’apprentissage. Concentration, patience, réflexion ou encore esprit d’analyse et de synthèse, les échecs favorisent l’acquisition de nombreuses compétences.
Lundi 2 avril, la DSS a organisé un tournoi amical d’échecs, auquel ont été invités les élèves du LFS, du CP au CM2, qui ont choisi les échecs comme activité extracurriculaire (ASC). Cette activité partagée est dans la continuité des nombreuses synergies entre nos deux écoles sur notre Eurocampus de Qingpu. Nos élèves ont particulièrement brillé lors de ce tournoi en récoltant les médailles d’argent et de bronze.
Bravo à Maximilian (médaille d’or), Jayden (médaille d’argent) et Ziheng (médaille de bronze) pour leur exploit, et à tous les autres participants qui portent leur passion pour ce jeu, qui ne lasse pas de fasciner et de défier l’esprit humain !
Friendly Chess Tournament with DSS
The practice of chess, beyond its playful aspect, is a privileged mean of development of the intellectual development of our pupils and constitutes an additional asset in their process of learning. Chess promotes the acquisition of many skills : concentration, patience, thinking process or the ability of analysis and synthesis.
On Monday, April 2nd, the DSS organized a friendly chess tournament, in which took part our students from Grade 1 to Grade 5, who chose chess as an extracurricular activity (ASC). This shared activity is a continuation of the many synergies between our two schools on our Qingpu Eurocampus. Our LFS students were especially successful during this tournament by collecting the silver and bronze medals.
Congratulations to Maximilian (gold medal), Jayden (silver medal) and Ziheng (bronze medal) for their achievement, and to all the other participants who carry their passion for this game that never ceases to fascinate and challenge the human spirit !
